Never underestimated the stupidity and short attention-span of the American voter.

nobody is ever finished in the US but trump is stabbing the anti-HRC-voters, begging to vote for him, in their backs again and again.

one or two weeks more like that and early voting will finish the job.

This, but barring a major game changer, he's probably done.

Never underestimated the stupidity and short attention-span of the American voter.

The short attention spans are quite selective, however.

While he's out there talking about himself and trying to do damage control, Hillary is posting about the hurricane on the east coast which is a much bigger story than Trump and his sex problems.

It's always all about Trump with Trump.

Not even close. A month is an eternity, the American public has terrible short term memory, and there are murmurs of a leak of either a top aide or Hillary herself making racist remarks about black people.

Anything short of Hillary herself won't make an impact.

No. I don't think of Trump as just some individual but as a personification of a particular brand of politics. That said brand of politics could win out in better circumstances and with a shrewder person representing it.

Never say never, but he's in deep sh**t. The only worry is that might encourage too many soft Hillary voters to not vote/vote third-party which cancels out all the Republicans deserting Trump.

Albert Einstein once said something that in Mike Pence's head has turned into an incredibly ancient Chinese, or perhaps Russian, proverb: “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

That's not how psychology works at all. For your information. Just ask Freud. I think he's still available there in his grave.

Not even close. A month is an eternity, the American public has terrible short term memory.

Did you think the same about Mitt Romney's 47% comments, which we still remember today as if it was yesterday, or perhaps only one hour ago? There's a part of the human brain that reacts to catastrophy and which induces trauma. When trauma is once established in one's brain, it's next to impossible to erradicate, no matter how much you try your best will to erase it. The most well-known form of trauma is of course PSD, post traumatic stress syndrom, which is usually caused by exposure to war.

Well, both Romney's 47% comment and even more so, these recent comments by Donald Trump, both causes trauma to a brain that is listening to it. And therefore can't easily get away or "be forgotten".

Norway is famous  for its caves. In  Grigs opera the action is set in the cave of mountain king.
