Roberts, Scalia will ultimately go down in history as B-tier justices.
Kennedy, Kagan, Breyer are C-tier.
No opinion on Alito.  He's a pretty quiet dude.  Seems like a solid guy from what little I've heard from him.
Sotomayor, Ginsburg, and particularly Thomas are hacks.

We don't have anyone up to the level of true A-tier legends like Oliver Wendell Holmes or Byron White and haven't since O'Connor retired.

Pretty much this.  What I learned from this list is liberals hate the Constitution as written.

Not at all. The actual text of the Constitution is the very foundation of my interpretations of the document itself. The text says what is says, but I do not believe we are permanently shackled the original intent. By the ultimate logic of Originalism, constitutional protections unless otherwise stated would only apply to white male property owners. Freedom of speech, as the Founders intended, surely did not apply to men and women equally, despite the text.

I view the Equal Protection Clause in a similar light. I know and have read the text of the Fourteenth Amendment. I believe the larger principles are static over time. Facts can and do change over time. That's ultimately the reason why I believe the outcome of Obergefell was the logical answer to a textualist reading of the Fourteenth Amendment. The Constitution in its present form does not tolerate subjugating discriminating against a class or identity.

To those that read the Fourteenth Amendment in such a limiting manner (such as only for racial issues), why do you not also limit the Second Amendment to the intent of the Founders? Nowhere in the Equal Protection Clause is there anything limiting its protections to just race. If there was such a limitation, it surely would have been included in the text itself.
