I never thought I'd say this, but I'm hoping for Albreto Gonzales.  He is the most moderate realistic appointment by Bush.  I have a feeling it will be a nut at first though, like Luttig, and the Dems may not have enough seats to block the nomination with the 'nuclear option' the Republicans can enact to override a filibuster.

That’s exactly the tactics. First frightening you with an extreme social conservative, then making you happy with a candidate like Gonzales, though I personally don’t think it would be Gonzales.
