The only four I am fairly certain he will win (at this point, before any new scandals) are OK, WV, WY and ND. Everything else is in play, including all the southern states.

He has a good chance in a few others (KY, SD, MT, NE, LA, TN and even AR, although I suspect they may want the "First Gentleman" on their side, after the election Smiley). With the Deseret News editorial, he is in trouble in both UT and ID and, after "successfully" mobilizing "the blacks" and Latinos against him, GA, AZ and even TX, AL, MS and SC may be a stretch.

Amateur hour at the GOP! Sad

In a complete blowout scenario (Mormons desert him completely, Clinton wins by 24 points): WV/KY/AL/AR/OK/NE-3/WY are the only ones that seem truly safe.

Who wins the green states in this scenario? McMullin?

Just a bit of fun, because I don't think this is going to happen.

If Trump had a total, Goldwater/Mondale/McGovern-style collapse, which states would he win? Even Goldwater managed to win six states. Which states are absolutely safe for Trump, no matter what?

I don't know, but if we wait 30 days, we're all going to find out.

Wyoning, North Dakota, NE-03, Oklahoma, Alabama, Kentucky, West Virginia. Idaho has lots of Mormons, therefore I left it out purely out of caution (some polls there would be nice).

A vulgar person, moral bankrupt who has completely discredited himself still has chances to win some states???
You a very democratic country. Perhaps  too democratic.

I figure McMullin wins Utah and Idaho, and maaaybe Johnson in ND (haven't seen any decent polls from there, so the upside for green comes from uncertainty here)
