Look at the demographics of Republicans most likely to be loyal Trump supporters even after all this.  Look at the demographics of Republicans who aren't as wild about him.  I'll take my chances the latter win out in the long run RE: the soul of the GOP.

Trump's a last stand for a group who will continue to have less influence each cycle, and he failed miserably.

this movement is losing on a global level but in other countries it has still enough power to win through desperation.

in the US it could be too late.

in 2016 a man tells pence, if hillary wins he will join the revolution....

and pence countered with the clear and sharp answer: "don't say that".

This is ridiculous and does nothing for Trump. It may energize his base but how would it attract the middle ground voters who are most crucial

I'm shocked Reince isn't apoplectic again, Trump saying he wouldn't endorse Ryan a few months ago almost sent him over the edge and now Donald is unloading on him.

Agreed.  He's already lost the Trump supporters; if he pulls his endorsement he may at least gain a few votes.

I imagine that, soon, Trump will explicitly instruct his supporters to withhold their votes for Republicans who pulled their endorsement for him.  It's going to get really ugly.
