He only won by 11% back in 2012, in a year where the Romney/Ryan ticket lost by 7% in the Badger State. Romney won the district by 4% in 2012, and Obama won it by 2% in 2008.

If Trump loses the state by double digits or more, is it possible that Ryan could get washed away in a wave? It's also possible that there are angry Trump supporters who might "vote their conscience" against him. Discuss.

I hope not. I'm looking forwards to a Ryan-Wyden Budget.

Voted option 3. He always seems to get a good amount of crossover votes in his hometown of Janesville IIRC, and I'm sure his constituents like being represented by the Speaker. Also, the Democrats are not seriously contesting this seat, Ryan's opponent is a some dude, I believe.

If Democrats got a decent challenger and a huge wave develops, he COULD be vulnerable. But I doubt it.

Perhaps in another year  with a well known popular local candidate, but not this year.

I think he's safe barring a 1894 style wave

Less than 1%, but this scenario can't be totally ruled out
