That alone should tell you this focus group wasn't really impartial.

The audience and focus group are in Missouri, which would explain why they cheered so much for Trump throughout the debate.
It's Wash U, though; that's Missouri's elite private university. Probably a more liberal student body than you think.

That focus group looked mighty old.

Per Nate Silver (live), YouGov debate poll shows Clinton 47%, Trump 42%

Probably about as good as can be expected considering the pundit consensus seems to be a draw, and spin often matters the most.

Hillary deserves better. Sad
