This election cycle has made me seriously reconsider the Berlusconi years in Italy.

I posted the following months ago, and I think it holds up well:

I feel like the best-case scenario for a Donald Trump presidency is probably something like Silvio Berlusconi's time as Prime Minister of Italy or Rob Ford's time as Mayor of Toronto: embarrassing and chaotic, but not ultimately dangerous, and with a surprising number of loyalists still supporting him at the end.

Again, that's what I see as the best-case scenario.

This is perhaps the most blatantly obvious pandering and selfish, mechanical, manipulative move Trump could have made.  The media spent eight years aggressively prosecuting the case for these women in the 90s, and all of them were virtually unanimously determined to be lying.  It's utterly pathetic and disgusting that all Kellyanne and the Trump campaign have left is using these womenliars to attack Hillary, who wasn't even accused of anything related to their cases, in the desperate hope that people will have forgotten that they were already determined to be liars.  Kellyanne and Trump don't give a single f**k about any of them; in fact I bet if they were asked in an interview to tell their stories she couldn't do it.  All they know is "when you say their names and the word 'rapist' in a sentence together, Clinton's favorables go down."  And they have the nerve to accuse Hillary of being heartless and mechanical!

Kellyanne makes me want to puke.  She's such a manipulative, revolting bitch and if she could run a train into ten people for a penny from Trump or the chance to kiss his ass she'd do it.  She has no morals, no integrity and no soul.

Foreign reporters are laughing at our country and we deserve it.

Trump campaign (Steve Bannon & Rudy Giuliani) wanted to seat the 4 Bill Clinton accusers in the family box and the Presidential Commission wouldn't allow it. They were going to have them go and directly start screaming and yelling at Bill Clinton before the debate started. Bannon is furious with the debate commission, they want the main guy fired, and there is some talk they may skip debate #3.
