Romney already signalled support for Johnson, a full throated endorsement for McMullin would cut any viable path for Trump.

Even with the FBI report, Trump is threading a needle with his electoral path. No way he can afford to lose Utah and still make it

Not surprising that someone is trying that. The robocall itself is insane. Not sure how it will pursuade anyone.

It might even backfire by bringing McMullin to the attention of more voters, as well as generating sympathy for the attack.

LOL! Utah is officially safe R. McMullin's campaign is dead! THANK YOU MORMON VALUES!

If Romney was going to endorse, you'd think he would have done it by now.  I think McMullin is on his own here.

I don't necessarily think he'll endorse McMullen, but if he were going to the best time would be a few days before the election, so the GOP wouldn't be able to counter it before people voted, maybe the weekend before.

Is this William Johnson guy for real?  Seems like a parody.

Seriously... If I was undecided, I would definitely be taking another look at McMullin.

Both of his parents are gay what are odds he's gay too? That would seem pretty wild.

Is his dad gay too? I knew about his mom already.

I read he had two moms I assumed "dad" was just a donor.

Let me be clear: I'm not saying that Evan McMullin, a forty year old unmarried Mormon, is gay, but a lot of people are saying that he was a regular at the infamous Miami-Dade foam parties of the 1990s.

There are also rumours that the reason why Mitt hasn't endorsed him is that Evan's... predilections are well-known among the Mormon community in Utah.

Pretty sure that his parents divorced. Not sure what happened with his dad though.

With his career and his looks it is surprising he's not married especially considering mormons usually start families pretty early.

Spent a lot of time overseas in the CIA, that may have made it harder for him to find someone during those years

Apparently McMullin's favourite dish is, surprisingly not McMuffin, but rather Middel Eastern hummus, olive oil and flatbread. Smiley In Utah, he says the Mormon community has found the perfect substitute for indulging in coffee; various types of sweet deserts. Tongue

Very sympathetic and interesting article here on McMullin's campaign and how he sees the future of the Republican party: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/evan-mcmullin-independent-election-230615

He just seems like a good guy through and through. If it's guys like McMuffin, and even Paul Ryan, who'll be the external face of the GOP in the future, the death of the Republican party might be premature after all. Wink
