Rubio or Kasich would have won VA along with pretty much every other swing state. Either one of them would have given the GOP its biggest win in a presidential election since HW Bush 1988, but my fellow Republicans went full retard mode and nominated Trump.

Second of all rubio is far too socially conservative for a state that leans D and many states like that, Kasich would've struggled too. rubio was polling down in both va and oh and was only tied in his home state of FL, kasich was doing significantly better in FL, let alone OH than rubio himself in his own state.

DC suburbs would killed Rubio's chances here. Kasich wouldn't have won either, but he would have been far more competitive.

You are far, far mistaken if you think John Kasich would have little chance to beat the worst Democratic opponent in 3 decades in the state of Virginia. I am extremely certain VA would of been in reach.

That is stupid. Trump has to retain Romney states & win OH, FL & PA or OH, FL, Iowa & 2 of NH/CO/NV or a long-shot effort in Wisconsin or Michigan.

If he is serious he should stick with these 7 states + either of Wisconsin or Michigan whichever he is more comfortable. And focus on retaining Georgia & Arizona.
