They should give up on PA while they're at it.

If he gives up anyone of the two he might as well go home and spend more time with Melania.

He's probably doing this because he fired his VA campaign manager two days ago for leading a protest outside the RNC and I doubt the campaign has the bench to manage even a skeleton campaign in the state.

Rumour has it that he has given up on all other states except FL, PA, NC, & OH.

That's interesting because they pulled almost all of their TV money out of PA.

Even that's not enough if HRC wins Arizona, Iowa, and Nevada though. Hell even if he wins Iowa and those 4, if she holds onto Maine-2, Nevada, and Arizona she still wins. If she holds onto Nevada and Arizona but not Maine-2, it's a tie

Ridiculous strategy if he doesn't shore up Arizona, Utah, Iowa and Georgia.

Uncharacteristically smart move by the campaign. I suspect North Carolina is also gone, but maybe it might at least save Burr

So the best thing for Senator Burr is for the Trump campaign to increase The Donald's presence in the state?  If you say so...

Trump campaign is now pushing back at the story of them giving up PA. Saying they have only moved a couple staffers from VA to NC.

It was always obvious he couldn't win there but now Team Trump has accepted it...

No R could've won it, but you need to invest resources there to keep the dems occupied, same as what Rs do to Ds in PA.

Rubio or Kasich would have won VA along with pretty much every other swing state. Either one of them would have given the GOP its biggest win in a presidential election since HW Bush 1988, but my fellow Republicans went full retard mode and nominated Trump.

BS, first of all, stop grouping in rubio and kasich together. Second of all rubio is far too socially conservative for a state that leans D and many states like that, Kasich would've struggled too. rubio was polling down in both va and oh and was only tied in his home state of FL, kasich was doing significantly better in FL, let alone OH than rubio himself in his own state.

DC suburbs would killed Rubio's chances here. Kasich wouldn't have won either, but he would have been far more competitive.

You are far, far mistaken if you think John Kasich would have little chance to beat the worst Democratic opponent in 3 decades in the state of Virginia. I am extremely certain VA would of been in reach.

Saying they have only moved a couple staffers from VA to NC.

That's potentially consistent with the campaign shutting down its VA offices.

That is stupid. Trump has to retain Romney states & win OH, FL & PA or OH, FL, Iowa & 2 of NH/CO/NV or a long-shot effort in Wisconsin or Michigan.

If he is serious he should stick with these 7 states + either of Wisconsin or Michigan whichever he is more comfortable. And focus on retaining Georgia & Arizona.

Virginia is gonna be a loosing strategy & a waste of resources!

She is not the 'worst', Hillary has the exact same issue as Gore. Moderate Dems love her, the ones who don't like her are bernebros/far-leftists. VA dems are pretty much all centrist surbuban moderates.

It's literally a "safe D" state at this point so that's the right call for them to make.

There are now enough "Safe D" states for Hillary Clinton to win this election with nothing more than defense. Kerry +  CO + NH + NM + VA clinches the Presidency.

...If I were Richard Burr, I wouldn't want Donald Trump visiting my state.

Fix'd, because Kerry won NH. I wish he won NM too to simplify things; NM these days is as solidly left in Pres years as any Gore/Kerry state.

Anyway, yeah Deborah Ross wants Trump to come a lot more than Burr does

Maybe they are counting on WI or NV/NH (lol).

Kasich would've had better odds of flipping WI/NH before VA, considering that those states are dependent upon far-left berniebros not turning out. VA doesn't have that problem, because VA dems are all moderates.

Trump isn't winning WI.

In general, no republican can win either WI or NH if dems can hold the left-wing base together, bernie would've crushed any R easily in either of those states for that reason.

So Pussygrabber McTic Tac Breath's last vestige of hope to deny Clinton 270 electoral votes is Pennsylvania? Sad.

Trump appears to be going all in on Wisconsin. Was here last week, this week and has an event next week. Disgusting we have to have him in our state but love that he's wasting his time and money here.
