Seems a bit Clinton friendly but oh well. Too bad we don't have more polls to compare to.

Post Debate #1, "MeowGate", and Debate #2, I posted that although I thought Indiana would like be within 5 points and extremely close, but that Pence would be able to carry Trump over the line, we now have "GroperGate".

Eight women have now come forward, claiming unwanted physical and sexual harassment, including multiple women accusing him of "groping" that moves to a new level of sexual battery, and even potentially sexual assault.

Although each of these alleged incidents are completely separate, at best for Trump the optics are not good at all, within his Evangelical Base, Republican & Indie Women in the suburbs, and college educated men.

At worst for his campaign, it reinforces a narrative of not only an extremely narcissistic and selfish "Billionaire" where normal working Americans are just pawns in his "brilliant" chess game, but even more significantly that even the audio tapes have now been corroborated by eight different women, of whom many are self-identified Republicans, that appear to show a systematic pattern of abuse of power that could well be a predatory pattern of behavior in a manner that even Senior Level Management in a private sector corporation would never be able to get away with, without being immediately terminated as part of an "at will" contract".

Most wealthy Americans do not use their positions of power to exploit potential or actual employees, although obviously we have Roger Ailes and others that prove to be the exception to the rule....

These are not American values, these are not the values of the Midwest/Heartlands, these are not the values of Christians of all denominations.

At this point, I think Indiana will likely flip in November, even with Pence on the ticket.

This poll makes me so happy!  I'm so proud of my state for the Gov/Sen races, if Indiana rejects Trump I'd be jumping for joy.  It's really possible! Smiley

I don't understand the Trump/Bayh voters.

Yeah, they're morons (just like Trump/Kander voters), especially if they identify as conservatives. Welcome to American politics, where last names, nice ads and looks matter more than issues.

(Same is true for Democrats who vote for Susan Collins, for example.)

Can't disagree with that, though I'm still happy when it works to the Dems' advantage.

Of course not. Those are coherent, informed votes.

Please do elaborate. A check on Hillary Clinton? That could explain Clinton/Kirk voters, but not Clinton/conservative obstructionist R voters.

What would be the sample size for just that day? It's probably just noise, but if it's not... wow.

Clinton/conservative obstructionist R works both as a check on Clinton, and as a positive "gridlock is good" vote (or, at least, as a gridlock is superior to any of these guys actually enacting their agendas).
