Imagine: Trump loses the election in November and it's not that close. Hillary is sworn in.

But Trump loved that attention, and the media knows Trump sells. Trump decides to keep on trying to get as much attention in the news as possible even after he loses.

Trump claims it was a rigged election, Hillary is an illegitimate president, he's the true 45th president (hey, he was the King Birther, this would be a step up from that).

Let me brainstorm some more outrageously stupid Trumpish things he could do to get attention:
He even appoints his own cabinet and some ambassadors, calls Trump Tower the True White House, and even attempts to do foreign trips abroad to world leaders and host them at state dinners in Trump Tower and release executive orders and presidential memos and host presidential press conferences and signs any bills that President Hillary Clinton vetoes. He says he's going to take his case all the way to the Supreme Court, and says if that doesn't work then he's going to run again in 2020. Basically, Trump continues to do outrageous things to keep himself in the news.

Is there any way to stop Trump from hogging media attention even after/if he loses? Or will we now be stuck with a 24/7 media spotlight on Trump until the day he dies?

Mexico´s "legitimate president" AMLO will exchange legates with him to announce mutual excommunication. I am sure, there will be "national publications" enjoying it. All harmless fun.

Who cares if he gets the attention, as long as he and his movement are politically dead?

Yes, stop talking about him, and then stop watching the news until they stop talking about him.
