I've seen some articles that this election cycle, especially the behaviour of Trump, has really been picked up on by children. I actually find it quite interesting to see how children internalise the complicated yet omnipresent world of politics (yeah, I'm a sucker for those TV segments where Jimmy Kimmel or whoever interview kids and see how mangled their interpretation of the election is).

What made me especially laugh was this morning on the bus. A group of kids - judging by the school uniform, no older than eleven; probably younger - got on, and started excitedly impersonating Donald Trump. Not in a cruel way, just as if he was like a funny TV cartoon. And this is in the UK, so I can only imagine American kids must be even more immersed on the phenomenon.

Any interesting anecdotes or data?

My friend actually sent me this anecdote the other day, which made me chuckle.
