Yes, it's my turn now.

Say I'm a fairly moderate governor of Georgia with a slight lean to the left.  I'm also a pretty popular (how else could I be governor) independent.

How would I do against, say, a far left Democratic governor from the state of Washington...and a moderate Republican senator from Oklahoma?

If you weren't bisexual, you could pretty well in the south, though not carrying any states.

Hm....let's say I'm not out yet.  No one knows about my sexuality.

Risky strategy Clay - perhaps it could be to your advantage if your honest from the start

I think you'd hold on to the Pacific Coast and the North East - but marginal Democratic states like Pennsylvania and Michigan could be at risk

Of course, if you were a successful and popular governor of Georgia, it certainly wouldn't work against you

Yeah, I agree with Dem Hawk, that's quite risky.  Who says one of your 100 lovers (Wink) wouldn't accidentally slip? Cheesy

Though I'd prefer if it was your SECRET HUSBAND (or NOT SECRET WIFE) who would accidentally slip.  I shall change your anti-relationship-ness one day, muahahahaha Grin

You would lose the election, but you would win a lot of fanboys.
Don't know what's preferable.(from your POV that is Smiley )
