Once again Trump overreacts to a situation that could have been advantageous.
Republicans in general have this problem.

It's somewhat breathtaking when you compare the response of Secretary Clinton to that of Trump...the differences between the two could not be more stark.

In response to a comment above, if this happened to a Democratic Party office (similar things actually DID happen to Dem. offices in 2010), I would be one of the first to blame Trump and his incendiary rhetoric. At the same time, however, I would hope that Clinton, Obama, and other Democratic leaders would hold themselves to a much higher standard—I am not, nor will I ever be, a candidate for President of the United States.

With as close to open virulent racism as he's getting now that we're getting close to his loss, I'd be shocked if there isn't an N-word or the like tape out there somewhere. It's clearly a regular part of his thinking and talking that he is swallowing with greater and greater difficulty.

The big story here is him saying animals.

Agreed. What a vile racist piece of garbage he is.

I despise Trump, but what part of that was racist? "Animals" is used within a derogatory term to refer to criminals. It is not a racially loaded word.

Now that's a silver lining. Something Trump would never be capable of.

Wow, they are only about $330 from their $10K goal. Great work!

As an Orange County, NC resident, it's is terrible what happened and great that Dems are helping the GOP reopen its office. However, Trump's reaction contributes to the us versus them mentality, that Republicans use far more than Democrats.

Trump is a cancer on American politics.  The chemotherapy treatments will be complete on Nov. 8, but unfortunately the aftereffects may be with us longer.

I say punish whoever did this to the fullest extent possible, because its stupid actions like this that plays right into the hands of Trumpists and their reactionary victim complex. Wouldn't surprise me if this hands the state to Trump.
Why not punish them to the foolish extent possible simply because they broke the law and destroyed another's property? because they couldve killed someone? Not because it doesnt help a particular political advancement...

I think it is racially loaded. Especially in a Southern context.
