$6 million in enhancements to the coordinated campaigns in FL, IA, NC, NH, NV, OH, & PA

$500K to both IN and MO

Both sets of money will be used to help Congressional GOTV

No IL or WI on the list.

$2 million into AZ

Not sure if this will be going to Congressional GOTV as well or not.

Well, glad to see they're throwing money into hopeless states like OH, IA, and FL. AZ is probably a waste of time too.

OH and IA are a waste, but FL could certainly still be flipped.

Excellent! This is exactly what we need right now. Put all our efforts into taking the Senate.

IA and OH are a waste, and FL might be too little, too late, but glad to see that they're investing in getting a Democratic majority.

Iowa and Ohio? That could work... if the intended goal is to make the networks wait an extra half hour before calling those races.

Florida is doable, but very difficult. I'd remove the cash from Ohio and Iowa and funnel it into Florida, Missouri, and NC

AZ, NH, OH and IA are a waste of money and time, and so is probably FL. All the other races are very competitive, though.

what? That's a tight race if I've ever seen one

Why the hell is Strickland more worth helping at this remove than Feingold?!

No Republican is winning a statewide or federal race in deep blue NH anymore, but that's just my opinion.

Ayott's holding up okay, and there's a chance she could win over Hassan.

They must feel 100x better about their internal polling than the public poling.

Even if that's true, the polls are such that you have to rate it a Toss-Up (or at least Leans D) on any rating system that is claimed to be partially or fully based on polls, or else saying you use polls as a factor is a complete lie.

Very smart decision to pump money in the Senate races, though I'd choose WI and perhaps IL instead of OH and IA...

Good idea, otherwise it'll be a very boring and pointless four years.

Most of these states also have competitive House races. Democrats have no chance of taking Iowa's Senate seat but Iowa 1 and Iowa 3 are in play.

No, Murphy is usually only trailing by mid-single digits.   If Clinton wins FL by three or four points, she'll probably take Murphy with her.

Early voting in FL certainly suggest this is possible.

"Coordinated" in Ohio is anything but. The Clinton campaign's just boosting their field effort there to maintain what appears to be a narrow lead.

Except that's not what the polls show, not to mention that even the DSCC seems to disagree with you. Keep holding out hope, though.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/senate/fl/florida_senate_rubio_vs_murphy-5222.html

RCP average has Rubio up 4.7% (mostly thanks to that +8% poll).    I'm still not convinced Murphy is totally done in Florida.   It's a tough race, but not unwinnable.

Why WI? They usually have a knack for going hard-Democratic on Presidential years and Feingold is still well liked.

And Kirk's campaign is a joke.

Saving for LA Run-off would be more useful than IA though.

The race in WI is tightening. I agree about IL, but even there it'd be better spent than in IA or OH -- though even better would be not investing it in any of IL/IA/OH but using it in the other swing states.

Your opinion is wrong.

And why not dump several million into AZ 02 instead?

New Hampshire is pretty left-wing, and has always been quite socially liberal. Ayotte does better because in spite of agreeing with Ted Cruz on most issues, has somehow tricked tons of gullible white male ex-Rockefeller Republicans that she is a Warren Rudman/Charlie Bass-style moderate.

Obama only won 52% in 2012.
