Considering we're going to have to take some House losses somewhere, I really wouldn't mind Issa losing. His opponent has a sordid history of harassing and stalking an ex-wife, and he would totally embarrass the Democratic caucus if he became a member.

Plus, Issa was a totally embarrassing Oversight Committee chairman. Chaffetz is far preferable.

Considering that Applegate's ex-wife issued a statement a d said that she will vote for him that whole issue was pretty much a non-starter for Issa.
