Rules of the Senate have been adopted. Under them, each party is entitled to elect a "Leader." I urge the parties to come to a choice as to their Leader.

The designation of the Majority and Minority parties will depend on the result of the elections in districts 4 and 5. Currently, out of 8 Senators, there are 4 Democrats, 3 Progressives and 1 Republican. The Democrats will definitely be the majority party. For the minority party, the scenarios are as follows:

- If Harry and Steve win, the Progressives are the Minority Party
- If Harry and Lewis win, the Progressives are the Minority Party
- If M (or another Republican) and Lewis win, the Progressives are the Minority Party
- If M and Steve win, the Republicans are the Minority Party: they will tie with the Progs. on Senators, but will have more registered voters.

The leaders of the majority and minority parties will be called the "Majority Leader" and "Minority Leader," respectively. The leader of the remaining party will be called the "Republican Leader" or the "Progressive Leader."

Also, just to note, a party must have 2 Senators to be allowed to have a Leader, under the Rules. So if the Republicans don't win either D4 or D5, States Rights will not be called a Party Leader.

I think you mean the GOP currently has 1 Senator.

Also, I don't understand this:
- If M and Steve win, the Republicans are the Minority Party: they will tie with the Progs. on Senators, but will have more Senators.

Should be "registered voters."
