I just don't see how he can accomplish anything meaningful and not be deposed.

He's got another 4+ years as house speaker in all likelihood.

Would be nice if he actually succeeds.  Both sides should support his primary goals, which are mostly to get the house working again.
We've already managed to avoid any debt ceiling or government shutdown fights while he's been in office, which is a big plus.
That said, I think he'll get overthrown sometime in the next two years by the nuts in his party.  Then they'll put Jason Chaffetz in charge and all those PACs, websites, and talk show hosts that profit off engendering right-wing frustration and angst will switch their message to "FIRE Jason Chaffetz!  He's just Clinton's bitch!"

He represents Orem and  Moab, I think. He's a Teabagger ex-Jew Mormon who is obsessed with the TSA and Planned Parenthood.

Maybe.  If he actually wants to run for president in 2020, which I'd say is at least a possibility, then I assume he quits as Speaker before launching his candidacy.

Implying that he was born Paul Nember, and will once again take that name. Hmmm.

Presumably he changes his surname to Nember after divorcing Janna and marrying someone of that name; causing him to be re-nembered.

As a pathetic excuse of a leader who let his party be overtaken by evil.

It really depends on how his speakership ends. Until then, it's rather premature, given that he's been Speaker for an year defined by a presidential election.

In November 1988 Bill Clinton was a Governor best known for a maligned speech. In November 1972 Jimmy Carter was a Governor turned down by the McGovern campaign. In November 1982 Jerry Brown was a two-time presidential primary loser who lost a Senate election to the mayor of San Diego. In 1972, Richard Nixon won more states than any President in history.

He might bomb as Speaker and run to the private sector for the rest of his life.
He might be a well-regarded Speaker who fails in other political efforts.
He might be seen as a flawed Speaker who has other public sector accomplishments (Secretary of Commerce, etc)
He might be a well-regarded Speaker who serves two terms as a well-regarded President.

Depends on how the rest of his career goes. He has a lot more to do before we ask this question.
