84 million watched the first debate, the highest debate viewership ever.
66.5 million watched the second debate, which wasn't on NBC due to a football game.

For the last time this cycle, how many million people will watch the final Presidential debate, as measured by Nielsen?

Not enough people will watch to make it really matter what happens.

I know I'm not watching it. I could stomach only the first 20 minutes of the last one.
50-55 million.

Historically, the last one is always the lowest rated, right?  If so, 46 million.

Not necessarily.  See the end of the Wikipedia article on debates at the link for total TV viewers by debate.  Sometimes the third debate is higher-rated than the second debate.  Sometimes it is lower-rated.  What's on TV up against it and what day it is on probably matters.

That one less network covered the last debate due to a football game probably depressed the second debate's ratings a bit. You could see a rebound.

You know, I think a lot of people were turned off by the last debate and will refuse or "forget" to watch tomorrow night. But not enough to fall below 50 million. 54.2 million

I'd be surprised if ratings fell that much from 66.5 million, especially considering the last debate wasn't on NBC and was up against a football game and baseball.  It's up against the Cubs-Dodgers game, but baseball isn't as highly rated as football and the game is on cable.

71.46 million, to be exact.  This includes PBS, so they're probably the final ratings.  I'll confirm when Nielsen puts out their press release.

Congratulations!

I guess this has been cumulatively the most watched series of presidential debates, by far.

71.6 Million watched last night's debate, per Nielsen.

I guess this has been cumulatively the most watched series of presidential debates, by far.

By total viewers, I think so.  By total viewers, last night's debate was the third-most-watched debate ever, and the first was the most-watched debate.
