My biggest beef with Manchin is on the environment, but I'd still support Manchin to defeat Collins who isn't any better on the issue.

Great analysis, but the fact is that Manchin is a standard liberal who happens to talk like he's a farmer and Collins is a standard conservative who happens to avoid saying racist or homophobic things.

Glad to see the actual RINOs exposing themselves!

LOL, obviously I'm kind of trolling.  Just mostly lamenting the mindless tribalism that some folks (the ones who ironically use the term "RINO" the most) are intent on defining as "true" conservatism, without any inquiry into actual policy positions.  Being a good Christian who prefers rural communities to the cities has NOTHING to do with political conservatism, and restricting American business and favoring economic policies that strangle individual talent to redistribute income actually DO have an inherent connection to liberalism, hence the irony of people like TN Vol using the term RINO.
