In accordance with the Official Senate Procedural Resolution, the bills proposed on the Expired Legislation Thread can be reintroduced in the order in which they were originally proposed. The order will be as follows:

Secret Ballot Procedure Bill
Atlasian Wetlands Bill
Amendment to the Government Thread Act
Atlasian Road and Rail Deregulation and Privatization Initiative

1. Diplomatic Mission Bill
2. Addition to the Bill of Rights, Article VI (1)
3. Addition to the Bill of Rights, Article VI (2)
4. Pacifican Statehood Act of 2005
5. Atlas Educational and Scholarship Choice Initiative
6. Striking of the 24 Hour Waiting Period*
7. Marijuana Criminalization Act
8. Constitutional Amendment to Article IV, Section 2, Clause 4
8. Atlasian Tax Reform Act of 2005
9. Supreme Court Adjustments of 2005
10. Signature and Avatar Amendment*
11. Reunification of the Southeast Bill
12. Voting System Reform Resolution*
13. Repeal of the Prescription Drug and Medicare Improvement Act of 2005
14. Atlasian Land Acquisition Act of 2005

*I consider these proposals very urgent and important. Therefore, I shall use the power vested in me by the rules to move these up on the list; I need the approval of either the PPT or a majority of Senators. Since the PPT is currently absent, the latter will obviously be the course taken.

(I have not been able to find a record of Senator Sam Spade's proposed Amendment to Article IV in the original Legislation Introduction Thread; if you have it, please PM me so that I can amend the above order accordingly.)

Actually, Emsworth, I did sort of a dumb thing.  When I was writing the Amendment to the Budget Amendment issue, I accidentally hit modify on the post containing the Amendment to Article IV, instead of quote on the post

Fortunately, I did this after posting it on the Expired Legislation Thread and have henceforth corrected it.

The link is here.

It is between the Marijuana Criminalization Act and the Atlasian Tax Reform Act of 2005.

Thank you, Senator. I will now open the vote on approving my request to overrule the OSPR.

I request the Senate's permission to waive the rules and call up the following lurgent egislation to the Senate floor:
1. Striking of the 24 Hour Waiting Period
2. Voting System Reform Resolution
3. Signature and Avatar Amendment

Normally, the Senate would have to wait until reaching these bills' turns in line. However, I feel that they are urgent and deserve to be considered as soon as possible. Passage of this motion would NOT in any way affect the other bills, which would proceed normally.

The question is on passage of the motion to waive the rules. Those in favor, say Aye; those opposed, say No. (Senators may vote separately on waiving the rules for each piece of legislation noted above.)

Senators have twenty-four hours to vote or to change their votes.

I thank this distinguished body for moving up my legislation to dissolve the 24 Hour Waiting Period, a bill which is much needed. I thank everyone who Co-Sponsored this with me, when first introduced.

I think over half the Senate co-sponsored it, IIRC.
