McMullin is on the ballot in Kentucky.  Most of his support will likely come from Oldham County where the Mormon temple is and nearby Jefferson County (Louisville).

He just got his 15 minute of fame by Nate Silver mentioning his name at the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Or maybe it was two minutes. Smiley Anyways, the whole audience gasped when Nate told them that this guy that next to noone had even heard of had jumped up from 10% to a full 31% in the matter of just the past week, in Utah. Even Colbert himself claimed that he hadn't heard of the guy, though that might simply have been for the laughs/visual effects, as I imagine Colbert must be extremely well-informed of most matters politic.

#Muffinmentum

This is hilarious.  I damn hope that the Trumpster loses UT or – even better – comes in third. However, I’m still doubtful and think he’ll prevail with a plurality.

The PA number looks bad, though. She’s ahead by at least high single-digits.

Junk pollster or not, these polls give McMuffin the free media publicity he needs to to solidify his numbers in Utah.

I am wondering though if he will carry any counties in the Mormon part of southern Idaho.
Probably the southeastern edge of Idaho, which is very Mormon. Definitely Madison County, which as previously noted, is where BYU Idaho is.

Side note on Utah, 21 out of 29 Utah counties have vote by mail, and have already been voting since the 13th or so. So if McMullin is getting a lot of votes from vote-by-mail, there's a good chance that he'll get a similar result on Election Day itself.

Couldn't that actually be bad for McMullin? His poll numbers have been rising over the last week, so the early numbers could be worse than the Election Day results.
