Only 76% of Drudge viewers say Trump won. Ouch.

What was it in the first and second debate?

CNN focus group

Clinton 11
Trump 9
Draw 1

At this point, do remaining undecideds lean Trump?  All of the focus groups are basically tied tonight.

Probably. Hillary voters are confident in their choice. Trump leaners could possibly have some reservation so put themselves off as "undecided".

One recent national poll I believe said the same. Trump voters have greater share of voters that may change their mind.

I feel like the question "Who won the debate?" is kind of an odd question to survey voters at large about.

It assumes that the general public can see that both candidates want to do two things (1) keep the base happy and (2) draw undecided voters to them.

But when you just randomly ask a partisan D or R "Who won the debate?" are people really thinking in those terms or are they just thinking some variation of "Well, all the things the candidate I said support said I agree with, so they won".

There is a basic level of facts, preparation and maturity that you have to present, whether you agree with what they say or not. Clinton beats him on every aspect. He interrupts more, lies more, and can't answer the questions.

The only redeeming thing for him is that his ego is bigger than our national debt.

CNN Focus Group undecideds, who plan to vote for...

Trump 10
Clinton 5
Still undecided 6
3rd party 0

There's no such thing as truly undecided. Everyone leans tiny bit one way or another.

CNN debate watcher poll

Did Debate change your vote?

To Trump 23%
To Clinton 22%
No Change in vote 54%

Wait a minute, what

People often will lie in polls like this and say it changed their vote to who they were voting for anyway. Polls that simply ask "Yes/No" to if your vote changed are more honest.

Correct, most undecideds aren't undecided. They're group of people too ashamed to say they already lean one way or another.

Two Shocking takeaways from debate, one from each candidate:

Trump - Won't say if he will accept results of election.

Clinton - When pressed by Trump she and the DNC were behind attacks at Trump rallies she didn't even have a good response to deny it.

All in all Trumps best debate, but it was pretty even which is a win for Clinton.

I agree that her dodging the question didn't help her case but continuing to defend herself probably would have led her more vulnerable to his attacks. She diverted and counterattacked instead and it probably was the safer choice for her. The average audience in the end mostly remembers the flow of the debate and not the specifics.

On the other hand, Trump saying "keep in suspense" won't help his image either, though we'll see the polls to verify. He performed better in 2nd debate imo.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/19/politics/hillary-clinton-wins-third-presidential-debate-according-to-cnn-orc-poll/index.html

"White voters who hold college degrees said Clinton won by a 58% to 33% margin, while those who do not have a four-year degree say Trump won by a 48% to 41% margin."

Stark contrast between education level.
