Have y'all forgotten Reagan's Alzheimer's? The last two decades of his reign would witness a sad slide into incoherence.

This is assuming he doesnt have any , but if that was there I would go with HW

Reagan (he'd likely resign around 1992, and Bush Senior would take over).

Historically, Coolidge, Cleveland, Washington, and Van Buren would be up there for me too, for their respective eras.

Barack Obama, easily. He's the best president for fifty years.

Obama barely edges out Carter for this one.  I'd be okay with Clinton or Bush 41 though.

How can anyone actually choose President Obama, who's tenure has been failure foreign policy wise and the only legacy he has is a failed healthcare bill?

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

If you aren't willing to tell the people that they have to make sacrifices, you shouldn't be president at all, let alone for life.

Only Jimmy Carter has ever truly done that on this list.
You mean like the policy of WIN?

My longer list:
1. George H. W. Bush
2. Jimmy Carter
3. Ronald Reagan(if he steps aside in ~1991-1997)
4. George W. Bush
5. Barack Obama
6. Ronald Reagan(if he steps aside in ~1997-1999)
7. Bill Clinton
8. Ronald Reagan(if he steps aside post-2000)
