Good Evening and welcome to Atlas-Reeds live election tracker. Stay tuned here where we will break down results for all the big races and project results in the Presidency, House, Senate and Governors races. Polls will close in just a few short hours in what should be one of the closest Presidential  elections in recent Atlasian history.
-----------------------------------------
Turnout Nationally:59.09%
By Region Fremont:25%
South:45.83%
North:48.28%

Polls Open in:Polls Open
Polls Close in:60:00

Rejected Ballots: Nationally-Libertarian_Leo,  Ben Kenobi(House section only), White Trash
South-Monolith
Last Ballot Counted Nationally: DC Al Fine
Fremont:Dereich
South:JCL
North:kyc0705

Please note that Southern and Fremont election law is different then Northern and National election law. This may make a difference with which ballots are rejected.

Here is a quick rundown of the races we will be watching tonight. (2 Ballot)

Presidency

North Carolina Yankee-Federalists
running mate:rpryor03
Votes:49 (49)
%:51.04%
Regions (won)/leading:

Blair-Labor
running mate: Kingpoleon
Votes:35 (42)
%:36.46%
Regions (won)/leading:

Xahar-Hanukkah Freedom Party(write in)
running mate:  Bacon King
Votes:8
%:8.33%
Regions (won)/leading:

Spoiled Ballots:2
In what should be a tight race between Labor chair Blair and Federalist chair North Carolina Yankee, we expect a long and unpredictable night. Polls seem to be split on who is winning, but are unanimous on it being a tight race. While we do not expect third party write in challenger Xahar to seriously challenge either NCY or Blair, we do expect Xahar to peel off enough votes to hold both major party nominees under 50%.

We will break down the down ballot races in the next post.

RGN
Federalist

Update
-In the Presidential race North Carolina Yankee has jumped out to nearly a 30% lead over Blair  in early balloting, with third party candidate Xahar is currently in a strong third place position at around 11% in early balloting. While we do expect polls to narrow significantly as the weekend goes on, this is so far an encouraging sign for North Carolina Yankee, and the Federalist Party.

-In the South Senate race, Southern Gothic currently enjoys a narrow 50-40 lead over JCL, with wrie in TexasGurl in third at 10%. With many Federalists yet to cast a ballot in this region, we still consider JCL a slight favorite.

-Over in the House it is a good early sign for the Federalists. Santander and Goldwater and Laborite Southern Gothic are ahead of the rest of the pack so far, while incumbent house reps Enduro and Siren  appear to be on the bubble so far along with Hatman and Fitzgerald.

Update
We will get to an update on the Presidential, House and Southern Senate race, but please first stand by for a major projection from our decision desk.:

-First in Fremont, with 25% of the vote in we can project that current acting Governor GAworth will be elected to a full term in  office. GAworth is currently the only eligible candidate with votes right now up 10-0.

-Now we head to the North, where we can first declare that current  Representative LLR will hold this seat for Labor. LLR currently leads by 42 points over fellow Labor write in challenger Harry S Truman. 32% of the vote is currently in. In the Governors race we can project that MikeWells will retain the Northern Governors race for Labor. Mike wells currently leads former Fed Governor by 58.5%, with 32% of the vote in.

-Currently in the Presidential race, Fed nominee North Carolina Yankee has a decisive 20 point lead, while he project that this race will narrow, we consider NCY the favorite to win this race as the we we begin to enter the final day of balloting.

-The Feds currently have all 5 of their house candidates currently getting in the House, with Goldwater leading the way. Incumbent rep Siren and Labor candidate Fitzgerald are currently projected to miss the cut.

-Conservative Fed JCL has taken a narrow 5 point lead on the first ballot against Labor candidate  Southern Gothic. However as both of  write in candidate TexasGurl  preferences go to Southern Gothic, Gothic leads on the final ballot.

Update
-Before we get to an update on the Presidential and House elections, we would like to make a major projection in the South Senate election. With over 50% in, JCL currently holds a 23% fist ballot lead, while we suspect it may narrow somewhat, we feel we have enough data to project JCL the winner of the special South senate race.

-In the Presidential race, the race has tightened significantly and we expect it to continue. Currently North Carolina Yankee has an 13% first ballot lead, with many high profile Labor members yet to vote.Meanwhile in the House it looks like a mad scramble to the finish line, both Goldwater and tedbessell however look safe right now. Meanwhile Fitzgerald looks out at this point.

Crossposting from the Courier:

2ND BALLOT - WITHOUT ACCOUNTING FOR VALIDITY:

58-57 Blair

Adam Griffin has projected on IRC that two of Blair's votes and one of Yankee's votes will be declared invalid, which would make it a 56-56 tie.

*BASED ON THIS COUNT, I DECLARE THIS ELECTION TOO CLOSE TO BE CALLED*

*The final count is the opinion of the SoFE and figures may differ slightly from the estimates noted above. Please await the official declaration of the vote from the SoFE and do not try to declare a winner at this point in time*
