Kaine and Brazile have been denying the authenticity of the leaked documents. Im not sure how wikileaks plans to prove both of them are lying.

That's a good description of them. All the way down to their being delusional, overblown, and incompetent.

As for their fans, the ones on the right and dank web crowd will still love them. For most others, I think they've permanently flushed their credibility.

That they were willing to blow their rep on the petty crud we are seeing makes me believe that either Assange is crazy, or they really were Russian puppets the whole time.

It does seem weird that Wikileaks, which built its name on distributing leaked documents from whistle-blowers exposing government wrongdoing, has weighed into an election by distributing documents stolen from a (private entity) political party, and stolen by a foreign government. It doesn't really fit their brand.  I get why the Russians are doing it. But I think the only reason Wikileaks is willing to play along is to stay relevant, but it is making them look partisan. 

Those celebrating all of this should consider if they also want to see the same thing happen to other political parties and candidates and campaigns, including those they support.
