Honestly, as much as it pains me to say this, Hannity has somewhat of a point in that last tweet. Why are high-profile people like Podesta and officials at the DNC/DSCC/DCCC still clicking & falling for fake email logins used to get their passwords? Why is the government not using its vast resources to protect the communications of these institutions and individuals? Did we really have to get hacked this bigly for them to wake up to this, even after years of non-stop breaches in the private sector? Why is Podesta reusing his password and, *gasp*, having assistants email him his own password for other accounts/devices? He's failing pretty much every basic rule of online security. This is downright embarrassing and Podesta / every single person in Clinton's orbit and at the DNC should be forced to take actual classes on securing their accounts / online presence. They clearly are too lazy to take basic precautions. Their incompetence in this case is literally endangering national security.

My big worry now is that no one will learn from this. A big part of the reason why so many people fall for such obvious tricks and practice horribly poor security practices is because proper procedure usually involves taking extra precautions, and people are lazy. It never fails - especially with old people who seem to think they can just ignore these problems and they'll go away.

Not to mention they editorialize the information they put out instead of letting people understand the information. Their organization is clearly slanted against the US. Why trust them when they're publishing and editorializing information that we KNOW was stolen by Russian cyber-attacks? No.
As I said they are media for hackers. Why do media sometimes say that they will tomorrow release intresting polls in battleground states instead of letting people understand the information? The same to WL.

But in the end they just released this information, and you can search it, mail by mail. So what's wrong. They have so far released more than 10mln emails about everything (Syrian, Guantanamo, US in Iraq, US in Afghanistan etc) https://wikileaks.org/-Leaks-.html

No, they are against corrupt (as they think) system in USA.

We don't know. But OK. It was Russians, so what? Does information becomes less worth?

This conversation goes nowhere, so my last attempt is an extreme example:
Let's imagine, Mexican hackers hacked Trump and handed it to WL. Would it be OK publish it?
No? Even if they founded evidence that proved Trump is Putin's puppet? But the publication would interfer the election, right?

Wait, how are you not banned after gleefully calling for the assassination of Hillary Clinton? Jesus fücking Christ

This seems like a fairly braindead nitpick, even for Wikileaks.

He is not even indicted. He should be first questioning; he offered to do it at Ecuador Embassy. Swedish prosecution didn't want it by some reason. "Only in Sweden", they said.

To be questioning in Sweden, he wanted a guarantee that he won't be handed to USA. Swedish prosecution said they didn't have such authority to grant it Roll Eyes

You thinks probably that his imagination is too colourfull? Well, I hope you remember how USA do its business and don't give a f**k about the rules

That's how USA:s establishment made the majority of journalist-hackers (who are often brainless  libertarians in absolutism) to hate them and help WL.

I just changed Lief post a bit. Hillary instead of Assange Smiley

Or does rules not apply to her? Again Roll Eyes

So it is Wikileaks position that Russia's elections are free and fair? Laughable.

It's pretty obvious Assange is now just a harmless fruitcake. Why bother?
Then why would one cut his internet connection? Roll Eyes

Because he's continually embarrassing his hosts? Or because even an appearance of condoning interfering in foreign election isn's something any government should embrace?

2016election is being as absurd as you'd expect someone with that name.

Hillary Clinton has been a public figure since 1992. She was the wife of the most scrutinized man in the country for 8 years. She won two Senate elections, one of which actually was seriously contested, and went through another Presidential campaign. She served four years as Secretary of State, and had to attend Congressional hearings in relation to her tenure in that office.

Based on all that, how on Earth could there possibly be dirt on her bad enough to throw the election that hasn't gotten out yet, and won't be until the last week of the election?

Really bad oppo research? If Hillary is yet to be deep throated by " citizen journalists" and loses, I will re-register as an Independent until they clean house.
Well that and the fact cyber terrorism is proven powerful enough to overthrow the US Government.

No.  A polling/data firm that the Clinton campaign was working with that had Atlas as part of its name.  Not us.
