1) What does this thread have to do with election trends?
2) Really scary to see how many people were salivating for a Santorum presidency back in 2005. I guess people weren't aware of how deeply he hated gays back then. Perhaps people then saw him as a moderate, while in fact he's the most extreme of all the severe conservatives out there. All the predictions for George Allen, Mark Sanford, Blagojevich and John Edwards are quite hilarious as well looking back now, having the actual turn of historical events in mind.
