Anyone but Rubio. Good chance of being someone we don't really talk about much yet.

Is Iowa still relevant? The last three Iowa winners didn't get any momentum out of the caucuses and failed to win the nomination.

Ben Sasse. Who incidentally is my current (and probably wrong) prediction of who the nominee will be.

Ted Cruz, who will be the eventual nominee. Though he will have shot IA right, he will still be defeated in terms of PV by HRC 50-47 and in terms of EV 341-197.

Literally the 2020 election summed up four years ahead of time. Bookmark this, folks. It will come to pass. Believe me!

LePage doesn't strike me as the type who would appeal to Iowa caucusgoers.

Perdue, interesting. I haven't thought of him as a potential presidential candidate.

It's kind of a long shot theory of mine but Trump based his southern GOP primary campaign on David Perdue's model. Perdue could offer the middle ground between Romney businessmanism and Trump businessmanism.

Ultimately I think Sasse gets obliterated, Rubio probably sinks, and Cruz leaves for some cushy think piece job and waits for a Supreme Court opening.

Why do so many people think LePage is going to run?

Anyway, my guess is either Ted Cruz or Ben Sasse

Zero. The guy was almost impeached by his own party and while Trump is entertaining LePage is simply an annoying dick.
