Idk, figured she'd at least do better than a black man there.

Sounds a bit low for the Dem % in Arkansas....

Thinking more like 37-39% is the absolute Democratic Party GE floor here, and turnout among White evangelicals will be a bit depressed considering all of Trump's sins in the eyes of the Lord...

Granted old Anglo retirees in the Ozarks probably love the Dude, but am sketch on Clinton dramatically under-performing Obama in Arkansas.

I suspect the state will be more like +12-15 T, but we'll see what happens ED.

We see few polls of Arkansas.

It's surprising that as late as 2008, Hillary Clinton was frequently predicted to defeat John McCain. As late as 2010 the state had two Democratic Senators.

So why is Arkansas to the Right of Texas this year?

Arkansas isn't exactly a tech haven. The biggest high-tech employer in Arkansas, meaning the company most likely to hire someone with a degree in information technology, is... Wal-Mart, whose headquarters is Bentonville.   Texas has a better-educated workforce, and more attractions for educated people. It also has far fewer Hispanics. Arkansas is very rural.
I'm guessing that Arkansas is basically West Virginia in the Ozarks and Alabama elsewhere.

...Bill who?

It's funny to see how both Clinton, Trump and Pence are doing extremely poorly in their respective home states, Arkansas, New York and Indiana. Though technically, one culd argue that Illinois is in fact Hillary's home state - just like Hawaii was technically Obama's home state - and Hillary is of course doing extremely well in Illinois. The only one, other than Hillary in Illinois and New York, who's actually cruising in his home state, is Tim Kaine. Smiley At least the Democrats are having a feast in three of their four home states, while the Republicans are struggling like crazy in both of their home states. Maybe we should add Kansas as well as a Clinton home state, since her parents (or at least one of them?) was born and raised there? In fact Obama and Clinton have more in common than meets the eye at first: Illinois, Kansas, and the Irish sides of Obama/Kaine. Which is kind of funny.
