Again, since most Americans qualify for rebates, they won't feel the increase. The only Americans who will deal with the increase will be upper middle class who don't get insurance through their employers, like me(oh joy *sigh).

This.

The only real takeaway from this is that Obamacare might move to the top of the list when Clinton takes office in January(even over immigration reform). They have to tackle it's flaws before the 2018 mid-terms or a bad year for Democrats, could become 2010x2.

I know it is controversial, but I am still opposed to ObamaCare. ObamaCare can not work without a public option. The plan is just too unworkable.

It is like you took the worst of both parties ideas and meshed them together.

It is better just to go with liberal policy all the time, with tweaking legislation to address Republican concerns.

Obamacare was destined to "fail" without a public option. Obama let Blue Dogs like Baucus and Nelson control the fate of the ACA, which will go down as a grave mistake.

Sadly, I doubt there will be much political will to push it through in the next few years without a Democrat-controlled House.

Obamacare was gravely wounded the day the SCOTUS shot down the expansion of Medicaid.

This would be a great day for some journalist to drop another Trump tape.
Foremost they should start reporting about Clinton's scandals as well - email server, wikileaks and yesteday's revelations about Donald Ducks. CNN and NBC are completely silent.

Obamacare is a very important issue for people in USA, this effects them directly, so Trump can gain a bit from that.

Tiny to no-effect towards helping trump.
But this could help slightly-to-moderate, for some R Senate and House races.

Depends on how the media covers it. Hopefully another trump video comes out to knock this out of the coverage.

Just a blip.

Two days from now, no one will be talking about it.

If not, tell me what I'm missing.
I'm a public health student but can't figure out who's telling the truth about what.
Does this have the power to chip away at HRC in the last 2 weeks?

(This is my one and only bed wetting thread).

(Edit #2: my bad, I did the most cursory of cursory searches for an existing thread)

No. Not in any real scale.

It will bring some voters to Trump, but not in a large scale.

ObamaCare was a very underrated reason why Trump was able to win in an upset. Smiley

Oh I'd say it affected the election.  Costs went up which cost the Democrats in the long run.  This is what they get.
