Which governments/nation-states pose the greatest current threats to the US?

(not counting non-state actors from inside their territory or somehow affiliated with them)

Other: our own stupidity, greed, recklessness, selfishness, and cruelty.

With that combination -- beware Japan. Dictatorial regimes typically end up with democracies as enemies. Democracies tend to have a powerful advantage in wars with thug states. Also beware India and Indonesia.
