Will the outcome of the MLB World Series (Clevland Indians) have any impact on OH presidential
race and who will benefit (if at all) if the Indians wins/lose? Please discuss.

Well, Democrats have never won in a year where the Cubs won the world series, and have won 50% of the years where the Indians won. Plugging that into the official Bill Mitchell election model, Trump has a 75% chance of victory.

Probably the same impact of a guy who got a paper cut in Cincinnati.

Ahh but see 538 has the Indians likelihood of winning the World Series at 55%, so trump actually has a 77.5% chance of winning the election.

I remember watching college football on the Saturday before the 2012 election and rooting against all of the teams in swing states!

It'll give a target rich environment for campaigns to buy ads on WJW, the local FOX affiliate

Clinton supports the Cubs, and I'm sure Trump thinks wearing an Indians cap is a good means of Native American outreach.

If the Cubs win Chicago might be a smoldering heap by election day... so that might affect Illinois' vote.
