Two polls show him at only 10%, but on the other hand the counties in Eastern Idaho are really tiny.

It is Madison.

I think he can win there. 10% isn't a lot to work with though. Granted, it will be concentrated in the Southeast part of the state, but I'm not sure he can pull off that many others. I had him at about 10 counties, but I'm not as confident in that anymore. Maybe a couple in addition to Madison.

Yes, he will do well in Idaho, not well enough to carry the state, but enough to make a decent showing for a third party candidate.

Do Idaho Mormons vote any differently from Utah Mormons?  I wouldn't be surprised if those in Idaho are more conservative since they're more rural.

Do Idaho Mormons vote any differently from Utah Mormons?  I wouldn't be surprised if those in Idaho are more conservative since they're more rural.

McMullin is at about 10% in Idaho (~20% Mormon) and 30% in Utah (~60% Mormon). They're not too far off from each other.
