First of all, this is Berkeley we're talking about. No surprise this kind of idiocy goes on there.

Second, "queer alliance resource center...?" Some of these demands sometimes seem like legitimate parody.

Third, that website isn't exactly a neutral source on this kind of thing, either. Not that I condone the recent rise in campus absurdity, but it's really a pretty scattered and silly phenomenon that gets undue attention (thus exacerbating the issue for copycats!), but the source of that article, like someone else pointed out, isn't where I'd go for info on this kind of thing.
