Looking at the actual FEC report, a little more than half comes from transfers from other committees. But I think he has now stopped that joint fundraising with the RNC, so apparently that will dry up. It may be based on his burn rate that he has no choice but to put money in. His TV spend for the week actually exceeds Clinton's at $14.4m (vs Clinton at $13.9).  However, for the report period Trump only personally contributed $30,681.67 during this period.

He has said as recently as this week that he will have spent $100m in total by election day. As of a week ago he had put in about $56m. It looks like his campaign will need that $44m to make it to election day, or they are going to have to start firing people or pulling back some of their booked TV, or perhaps go into debt.

What's that you say? Debt? Well, it's a good thing he is..

JUST IN -- Trump:

Raised: $30.5 million
Spent: $49.3 million
COH: $16 million

https://twitter.com/teddyschleifer
This is the perfect storm for Clinton to do an ad raid.

Blanket Texas in ads, no way could Trump afford to contest it!

What did Obama/Romney have in their final 2012 reports?

I made a thread on it.

Here’s an email Trump sent Oct. 1—in the period covered by new FEC report—pledging to “triple-match” donations. He gave just $30K this month

Wealthy Trump PAC megadonor Robert Mercer seemingly pulled plug on his Trump superPAC: it raised just $25 (not a typo) since 10/1, per NYT.

Trump tells @BretBaier he's planning to write his campaign a $10 million check today

*It would be disclosed within 48 hours if he does make such contribution

He also says the $100 million number mentioned previously now isn't certain.

Only 34 million to go! (If he actually gave the 10 million).

He should have done this before early voting started in earnest. However, I'm still glad he's decided to waste more of his money.

If some new bad revelation/tape/whatever shows up before election day, it's essentially going to erase whatever meager gains, if any, that 10 million buys him. But I guess he really doesn't have any other options.

The cash gap is so wide that 10 million dollars is barely going to staunch the bleeding. He's wasted money on ads in Michigan, Maine and Virginia and national ads during the World Series while he should be spending in Florida and Ohio.

It's true: Donald Trump gave his $10 million to his presidential campaign today, new FEC records show. Brings his total to $66.1 million.

I can tell you one thing extremely secretely, if everyone promises not to tell my secret to anyone else: If the Idiot d. t.ru..pmft  had not called 160 million people idiot, beyond human levels and even more gropy racist than even a full on Trump Pussygrabber would have been, then...maybe then, Trump might have had any chance in this election to begin with.

But then that wouldn't be Trump, and he wouldn't have gotten the nomination to begin with. It's a self-defeating hypothetical.

Yes. Trump won because he was unhinged.
