The FBI simply found new emails during a separate investigation, and is looking to determine if they're relevant to the old investigation of HRC's emails.

What we do know...

1. the emails did not come from her private server
2. the emails did not come from Hillary
3. the device did not belong to Hillary
4. there are only 3 emails being checked

Also, the campaign is asking the FBI to just be transparent about the emails to show how it's not a scandal.
http://reverbpress.com/news/5-facts-killed-new-hillary-email-scandal-less-afternoon/

But of course, the media is covering this like a Breaking News story, even though it's nothing. Just because they like drama.

Yes, but the campaign now can't have a quieter weekend.

sigh the media trying to make an implication that Hillary shared classified emails to Huma and/or Weiner. Why couldnt the election just happen already this week?

Even the German television is covering this. And they just leave me confused. What is going on?

Lol, what. As long as it hurts Clinton, I'm glad. Or do you doubt that it will? Smiley

what really annoys me is.....

1) conservatives can explain from morning to midnight how the evil MSM media is out to get them...

2) while the "EVIL MSM" (TM) first builds up Trump and then spends a year trying to compare him with hillary on all possible levels.

if this story really flies it's cause of the media framing....and the conservatives will still hate the media.....while pushing the one guy into the white house, who thinks the first amendment should be abolished for journalists.

bizzare.

What exactly is the criminal action here and when is Comey going to recommend an indictment?

You're a sweating dog, you're grasping at any straw to try and win. Even if it hurts her a bit I still suspect she has something to drop early next week and it can't stop her from winning. A win is a win and she'll be President there's nothing you can do. Smiley

Let me attempt to knock down this myth-making in progress:

1. Stated another way, the emails came from Huma's server; logically this can only mean any Huma/Hillary emails here were deleted or lost from Hillary's server

2. They came from Huma.  Unless you're suggesting Huma and Hillary never emailed each other, we can't state that they aren't to/from Hillary.

3. Correct.

4. NYT is quoting a source saying "thousands".  Which is more likely?  That Huma and Hillary only exchanged 3 emails in all those years?  Or thousands.

nobody knows cause he didn't even state what this is about and if the source is correct, there has to be a court decision before they even can go on.

Here's the thing...most people don't check the news until evening...that is, typical working people.

By now, the headlines have been changed to make this story look less of a story on Clinton, and more on Anthony Weiner.

The truth of the matter is, Anthony Weiner is already outside of Clinton's circle, so people will be less likely to shift the blame on her for this story.

Likely nothing. It is just a reminder of EMAILS. Besides that it kind of ties Clintor and Weiner together. Perception-wise!

Questions? Smiley

The only way this would have legal implications is if she shared classified info with Huma and you know that its unlikely.

Have to agree here, this is my biggest worry is how people will see this given how it's being reported.

Will you disappear on November 9th? Excessive new posters like you tend to do that when the election doesn't go their way.

Huma used a state department email address iirc, so all of Clinton and Huma's correspondence was likely preserved for FOIA purposes. However, she worked under a special arrangement in which she also did private consulting work, so perhaps these emails are from that?
