Cleveland Browns aren't the real Browns.

The real Browns were taken to Baltimore by Art Modell in 1996 and became what today are the Baltimore Ravens, one of the most successful NFL franchises.

The Cleveland Browns team that we have today was created out of the ether in 1999 as an entirely new team that shares nothing with the original but the name.  It's been an embarrassment for the city ever since.

Yep

Been to Cleveland. Lovely city.

If the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA.

And the Cleveland Indians win the World Series.

What does that tell us about the Cleveland Browns in the NFL?

It tells us that no matter how hard it tries to appear otherwise, Cleveland is still sh-t.

What about the party that held it's convention in Cleveland? Tongue
If we're gonna get symbolic and let that symbolism predict the election... then basically the Democrats (the Chicago Cubs in blue) took the game to the GOP and beat them.

The Democrats held their convention in Philly, the Phillies (71-91) didn't make the playoffs.

If we separate the candidates from the conventions, than you could argue that the WS winning Cubs (103-58) represent Clinton, but Donald Trump wouldn't be represented by the Cleveland Indians, he's a Bronx Bombers fan. The Yankees didn't make the playoffs this year, reaching a reg. season record of 84-78.

The Cleveland Indians are not the GOP. Don't compare our sports teams to Donald Trump, unless it's the Browns.
