Probably not. I doubt he's as good looking as Matt Gonzalez or Gavin Newsome.

I can't find a religious breakdown of San Francisco anywhere, but I have a feeling that there are enough religious people there for opebo's wish that they all die to prevent him from winning.  Heck, I would imagine that would be true anywhere, really.

They have IRV, which would probably hurt his chances.

They're so crazy there, the answer is probably yes, though he may not be left-wing enough on economic policy.

If he's elected mayor, I could always storm his office with a 12-gauge shotgun and other armed Libertarians. No way is he getting near MY area... Wink

No. Too many minorities, too many poor people. He'd do disturbingly well with the parasitic ultra-liberal leeches that infest the City but they *are* in a minority (albeit a disturbingly large one).

No, as any campaign would too much resemble working to attain what he wants.

Absolutely.  What an appropriate fit for the town.

No.  Anybody who wants to legalize pedophilia and child pornography cannot win an election anywhere in the civilized world.

If I had brownies, you'd get +3

I think he would do better in San Francisco than in The Netherlands. His apologetics for Muslim terror is already massively unpopular in cities like Rotterdam; his demented hatred for Christians would offend the Calvinists who still live in the *rural* (less urbanized) provinces.

I can assume without a shred of doubt that you've never been there.

It's safe to assume a lot with Preston.

No. His main opponent would have to be a Republican for that to even be possible, and that wouldn't happen in San Francisco.

No, the Green Party candidate would win in a landslide.

San Francisco may be very liberal, but those that insult it as a cesspool of insanity should actually consider going there.  For a cesspool of insanity, there are a lot of wonderful people and just because it voted 85% Kerry does not mean 85% of the population is nutso, Opebo-like people.  There are still plenty of moderates there, and social and economic conservatives, as well.

San Francisco kind of sucks despite the touristy attractions. Try living there. And believe me, a lot of people there are completely insane. Roll Eyes

I believe you, but I personally enjoyed it and the other time I was there, I met a good number of people and all of them seemed decent enough.

He'd probably be able to win North Las Vegas, NV as mayor (low-end Hispanic/Black LV suburb with legal prostitution).

If Opebo ran as the Democrat, San Fran would probably have a Green party mayor, or a lefty-independent mayor.

If he lies about his true opinions like most other politicians probably do, yes.

I imagine a little opposition research would expose his true views.

He could always claim that he found faith in the Lord Jesus Christ afterwards, and is now a devout believer, etc.

Ha, I imagine that would be cynical enough to interest him.
