If Hillary becomes President how long will she serve.
Will she have step aside during her term (Health or Scandal)

She would certainly not win reelection. If 2016 of all years is looking like low turnout, 2020 will probably be painfully boring unless the alt-right manages to hijack the GOP again.

If the GOP congress remains in power, or retakes the Senate in 2018, then she'll probably be impeached. They've already made it clear they don't intend to work with her or any Democrat for that matter, and will drum up any "scandal" they can find.

Something tells me that she will not seek re-election in 2020.
But I could be wrong.

She'll probably be a one-termer, but I wouldn't write her off in 2020.  It all depends on whether the GOP gets its act together until then.  And of course, if Hillary is a good president.

I'm tempted to say that with the current political climate one term, but at the same time every indication when Obama was elected was that he'd also be one-term given GOP obstructionism, so it would depend entirely on who runs next time and what her public perception is as far as how well she's governed.

She'll either step aside for health reasons by 2020, or lose in 2020.

Two full terms since the #experts on here who thought Scott Walker was going to be President think she'll lose in 2020.

Hillary is great in office, so reelection looks likely if she seeks it.

To be fair, I never had Walker as a particularly strong favorite for the nomination, nor would I have voted for him most likely.

Are people unironically pretending they know what will happen 4 years from now? Just in the past couple months you guys have flip flopped about 20 times on how THIS election will go.

Assuming she is elected, I would expect her to remain in good health for, at least 10 years after the end of her second full term.

I've called her a two-termer for eight years, I'm not going to change that now. The GOP is going to nominate Ted Cruz or some other nutcase in 2020 and she'll win by a 2012-esque margin.

Even worse it could be LePage...

Very possible. Honestly, the people Cruz needs to watch out for are the Walshes and LePages of the world, not the Kasichs or FBMs.

I bet she will wait and see who the republicans will likely nominate.

Barring death or permanent incapacitation (which can happen to every President), 4 years.

It's just my guess.

She'll certainly finish her first term barring death or incapacity, though I can see the House calling for an idiotic impeachment.

2020 will be decided on the following factors:

1. Will Hillary Clinton prove herself to American swing voters?
2. Will minorities turn out to vote AND outweigh the Right Wing?
3. Will the Right Wing nominate a strong candidate?

Number 1 is dicey, because she'll be facing a hostile House (and a hostile Senate after 2018 - I'm calling that race for the GOP right now).  The Senate will be forced to nuke the filibuster to get judicial nominees through, and that will result in huge backlash from the Right, and she'll need to uphold many of Obama's executive orders.  After the midterm, she'll have to veto bills to end Obamacare pretty much every week.  And she'll have no way of getting a progressive Obamacare fix through Congress.  ISIS isn't going away either, so that will hang over her head, and North Korea will most likely gain the capacity to nuke Japan, if not the US West Coast.  Good luck to her, dealing with those crises.  On top of all that, she'll be 73 years old.

Number 2 is stacked against Clinton if her re-election campaign meets low enthusiasm among minorities, nothing substantive is accomplished, and the GOP nominate a minority candidate.

Number 3 is anyone's guess.  The GOP nominee will most likely be another nationalist populist.  There are many rising stars, and they could easily unify behind someone very dangerous to Clinton.

At this point - 10/31/2016, it looks to me like Clinton would face a very difficult re-election campaign.

I think she will be perceived by history as one of our greatest Presidents of all time. Taking over at a time when the country was divided and leading us to an improved economy, navigating difficult foreign situations, resolving the controversy over health care and ultimately winning over her staunchest critics. She wins reelection in 2020 by Reaganlike margins redrawing the maps for the future as when the Republicans rebuild, they will now be the stronger party in the Midwest and the Northeast will be the battleground

I'm expecting her to be defeated in 2020, I just don't yet know by who. Of course, I have a pretty poor track record this far out.

She'll be perceived as great by the left, as a pariah by the right.

Under two years and Tim Kain will finish out her first term and run as the incumbent in 2020.

Probably one term, only because she's not a very popular candidate. Obama had a high approval rating as he ran in 2008 and so did GWB in 2000. That's not the case for Hillary.
