My ideal realistic congressional leaders:

House:
Speaker: Cathy McMorris Rodgers
Majority Leader: Greg Walden
Majority Whip: Ileana Ros-Lehtinehen
Minority Leader: Steny Hoyer or Ben Ray Lujan
Minority Whip: Ron Kind

Senate:
Majority Leader: Dick Durbin
Majority Whip: Jon Tester
Minority Leader: John Thune
Minority Whip: Rob Portman

CMR would never fly with the freedom caucus neither Illena, Scalise/Hensarling are next in line for Speaker. And for Ds I feel like Becerra/Crowley are next in line for big leadership positions.

Can't quite see Democrats having a Senate majority in 2019, unless this year is a bloodbath for Republicans. Tester will have trouble surviving a Clinton midterm. And since you said realistic, how does Durbin get the Democrats' number one Senate spot over Schumer? I can't see Hoyer outlasting Pelosi, it seems that the two aren't the best of friends. Also I can't see house Republicans having their top two spots held by McMorris Rodgers and Walden, who represent similar, neighboring districts. I like a geographic balance. Great thread idea, though. Here are mine (keeping both whips the same).

House:
Speaker: Paul Ryan
Majority Leader: Cathy McMorris Rodgers
Majority Whip: Jeb Hensarling
Minority Leader: Xavier Becerra
Majority Whip: Ron Kind

Kept Ryan at Speaker, dumped McCarthy and Scalise, maintained geographic balance. I also gave the Democrats fresh faces. Becerra seems well positioned to be the next Democratic leader, Ron Kind balances a coastal minority as a White midwesterner.

Senate:
Majority Leader: John Thune
Majority Whip: John Cornyn
Minority Leader: Chuck Schumer
Minority Whip: Dick Durbin

I'd like to see Senate Republicans replace McConnell. Schumer is set to be Democratic leader and I don't see him going.

Senate Majority Leader: Elizabeth Warren
Senate Minority Leader: Susan Collins

Not going to bother with other positions.

Oh, sorry, somehow I thought you just meant realistic. I guess mine are super-realistic? Still a fun thread idea.

Unfortunately I can't see Democrats having control of either house of Congress in 2019 if Clinton is elected in 2016.

House:
Speaker: Charlie Dent (R-D coalition)
Majority Leader: Kevin McCarthy
Majority Whip: Steve Scalise
Minority Leader: Xavier Becerra
Minority Whip: Steny Hoyer

Senate:
Majority Leader: John Thune
Majority Whip: Lamar Alexander
Minority Leader: Patty Murray
Minority Whip: Dick Durbin

Your House leadership seems pretty realistic. Your Senate is a bit iffier.
