0 since panicking accomplishes nothing anyway. But they should certainly stop channelling their inner Baghdad Bob/Dean Chambers/Dick Morris and realize we have a competitive election now...

No panic necessary.  She leads by 5+ in all of these places and plenty of other opportunities to pad the lead.  You are but young fools having Baby's First Election Meltdown.

Not my first rodeo, kids.

Completely agree.
At most the panic meter is "3 to 4."

I think they are right. If the sucking sound continues, It will still be where they thought Obama was. This is a good place to settle.

At this point. I'm calling it. And quote me if you think it happens in the next 144 hours. If there is another major oppo hit on Hilary, she's screwed. Same for teh Donald. End of story. If they are done, I think we we have a 2004 redux.

If Trump pulls to within 2%, a bunch of those firewall states start to look iffy.  CO, PA, WI, MI, and NH turn pink or gray.  Until we see some solid Clinton leads in the firewall this week, I'm subsisting on a diet of antacids.

Are you sure it was me? Or probably it was Trump trailing Clinton by 7%. Well, he is not anymore Tongue

She did lead there when she was up 7% nationally. Did we get many state polls since then? What if they correlates with ABC poll? Tongue

Yep, and NV is a done deal as well, so the best Trump can do is make this election close.

Democrats should definitely take this election seriously, and make every effort to turn out as many votes as possible, but panicking achieves nothing.

Panicking is always a bad idea, but reasonable people should definitely be very worried.

I'm not panicking at all. The ABC poll everyone's freaking out about is an outlier. Nothing to see here.

I think the real reason for Democrats to panic is not because Clinton will lose the election- but because she will enter office terribly damaged. There won't be a honeymoon period at all. About 50% of the country will not approve of the job she is doing from day 1. A GOP house will dog her with investigations and if they keep the Senate, there could be several Supreme Court vacancies. That is why Democrats should panic.

Wait. Why was he banned?

Cause Trump had 42% to win according to 538. The level of my unbearableness is strongly correlated with it.

Panicking is pointless, but its perfectly reasonable to be worried given the stakes.

Regardless, Clinton is in a good position to win, I'm not worried so much as dissapointed that the margin looks like its going to be closer than it could have been.

I'm getting quite a bit nervous I have to admit. Just because Trump being elected would be quite bad for the continued survival of the human race.

Its interesting that the number one issue affecting Americans appears to be what server people keep their emails on. I suppose in a world where something that frivolous determines who wins an election, no-one should panic at all, because there isn't really anything important to worry about.

It's clear that the bottom is falling out of the Clinton campaign.

It's time for Clinton to pull out of IA completely and leave OH as a shadow campaign. She will badly need those resources in PA and WI (and a lesser extent MI). I think she has already done so.
