I still haven't watched this, but I was watching Girls with my girlfriend last night (she's never seen it before), there was a lot of times when she had a reaction like "OMG did that actually just happen?" When it was over I told her it was praised by a lot of critics for its supposedly realistic portrayal of relationships amongst youngs and she was like "Haha, how is that anywhere near realistic?!"
