I'll let the nominee speak for himself, but it goes without saying that Kalwejt ranks among the greatest Game Moderators in our history. It was a true pleasure to work with him during my tenure as Secretary of State, when he kept me on my toes with a host of challenges at home and abroad, and his zeal for this post is exactly what we need to catalyze vigorous debate in and out of Congress.

Can the nominee confirm that he's going to be in the position for the long haul? I understand that his last run as Game Moderator ended after less than a month.

(Although, I'm not necessarily one to talk. Tongue)

I'm not really sure about confirming someone when I also assume Blair or Yankee have someone in mind. Would you be willing to step aside if either of those two asked you to willingly?

This is true. There's been a real-life emergency, which kept me away from the forum in general for a couple of weeks, so it was only proper to resign instead of going inactive.

With all that's going on in my life now, I can't forsee any circumstances, barring a sudden emergency, that would preclude me from doing my work as GM.

That being said, I'll strongly support a provision that enables me to nominate a Deputy GM to act in my place if there are brief leaves.

I'm not really sure about confirming someone when I also assume Blair or Yankee have someone in mind. Would you be willing to step aside if either of those two asked you to willingly?

Let's just say I'll be open to hear from the President-elect, once determined.

I have a question, even though I'm not a senator, but I'd like to have an answer. How well do you understand the film industry?

Whilst I had other plans for Kal in the event of a Blair takeover I'm more than happy to have him as GM

Hm... you shot black and white tape, which then you're playing with some music?

(I'm not an expert)

I'm talking about numbers; box office returns, and production budgets. Do you have a basic understanding of how a movie becomes profitable?

Regardless whether confirmed or not, I'll strongly support passing a provision to create the post of Deputy GM, who can focus on certain fields.

None of them indicated desire for me to step down.

Unless we have President now and I'm asked to step down, I'll respect it. However, the scenario me being confirmed, then resigning and opening confirmation process again is even worse.

I'm still a little bit unsure about confirming someone as Game Moderator without clarity about what the plan is for each of the Presidential candidates if they are elected. Until the confirmation of who will become President and what there plan is, I'll abstain.

I support the nominee, but I feel that it could get messy if the forthcoming President has another candidate in mind for Game Moderator.

With three members voting in favour, one opposed, one abstaining and one not voting - the Senate has confirmed Kalwejt as the Game Moderator.
