BREAKING: Hardee's/Carl's Jr. CEO Andy Puzder will be named Trump's labor secretary nomination. Announcement coming shortly.

Dude is one of the biggest proponents of past immigration reform (i.e. legalization & citizenship), lol

What a cuck!

On a more serious note, Trump should have picked a fast food CEO who runs a less sh**tty Fast Food company. I'd be onboard with Jack in the Box, for all your hangover needs

Yeah. Ive never been to a decent Hardees or Carls Jr in my life. Been to plenty of nice, clean Burger Kings, Wendy's and Mcdonalds though.

Predictit’s current favorites for all of the remaining Cabinet jobs…

State: Mitt Romney
Interior: Cathy McMorris Rodgers
Energy: Rick Perry
Veterans Affairs: Scott Brown
Agriculture: Sonny Perdue

All people who’ve held some significant elected office.

Just saw this on CNN and can't find the direct article, but the NYT is reporting that Trump plans to remain the owner The Trump Organization, but will put his sons in charge of the day to day operations while he serves out his presidency.

Also, Ivanka will be leaving The Trump Organization in order to serve a role in Trump's administration.

I'm guessing she's going to take on the role of first lady?

The business thing won't end well.

OTOH, we should want Ivanka in Trump's ear as much as possible

The only one of these that I'm adamantly opposed to is Perry. I guess Pussygrabber got his really bad picks out of the way first.

It'd be great if Jeb Bush was offered Energy Secretary.

Oops.

He's picking people for their reality tv appeal.

The man who couldn't remember the Dept. of Energy appointed to head it would be good for at least an hour's worth of material, spread over multiple weeks. Probably more. Maybe he can wear a cowboy outfit and a six-shooter to work - that's another hour, easy.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump seem to be very capable advisors.

If the Democrats have any sense, they'll filibuster each and every one of his cabinet appointees to set the tone for the next 4 years.

You cannot filibuster Cabinet appointees- Reid and his Democratic majority in Senate changed rules few years ago.

So much for making bringing back manufacturing a priority. Unless Trump plans to do it by paying manufacturing jobs at fast food wage levels. Sad.

When Trump appoints fast food executives to the Cabinet, he's not appointing their best. He's not appointing Don Thompson. He's not appointing J. Clifford Hudson. He's appointing people that run lots of sh**tholes, and they're bringing those sh**tholes with them. They run Carl's Jr. They run Hardee's. They run Green Burrito. And some, I assume, are good people.
