And in the end it seems neither Gingrich, Giuliani or Christie ended up in the cabinet. I can see why, but I thought all three would end up being there despite all.

It should be pointed out that all three are past their prime and grabbed onto Trump as a last 1st itch effort at relevancy. Now that Trump is President he has the oppurtunity to pick better and more politically viable appointments. I still somewhat expect Trump to give the three tiny consolation prizes as ambassadors to smaller nations (Canada, Ireland, and Sweden are often given as favors to donors or allies)

I'm still thinking Corker, but Tillerson's stock is rising rapidly.

That's a show I'd watch!

I'm surprised Giuliani is out. He could run for mayor again in 2017.

Huntsman is a dark horse for SOS, Romney is the more clear choice, and Corker is the safe pick.

So, a cabinet filled entirely with Billionaires/Millionaires, Generals and random congressmen. Zero professionals or people with governing experience. Great.

Hopefully this CIA news prevents a Tillerson nomination. I never thought I'd be rooting so hard for Romney.

If not, we might at least get a no vote from Grahm.

Even by Republican standards, this is too much. This is a plutocratic cabinet. I expect a pro-business anti-regulation conservative cabinet, but just because you are pro-business doesn't mean you should be OK with corporate America and the 1% literally controlling the government. This kind of situation stinks of future corruption and crony capitalism, and it is detrimental to the well-being of our country and future prosperity to continue allowing so much concentration of power into the top 1%.

I know Rand Paul really dislikes Bolton, will Tillerson have trouble getting through the senate?
