I think the issue here, is not that. It's

1. It's a sacrilege in Catholic rites to use an autel in that manner, it's reserved for the Eucharist.
2. It's also a desecration of the body, bodies should be buried after funeral rites, not exposed that way like mere objects, they are human after all (according to Catholic doctrine), no?
