I voted Democratic in every race.

I voted for sick leave.

I voted against eliminating the recorder of deeds

I voted against forcing taxes and fees collected from motor vehicles, etc. from being tied to transportation funding.

walked across the highway and voted. assuming the number they told me I am is turnout I was number 230 something. Total number in 2012 was about 500 so its probably on pace to match turnout.

Just voted for Hillary and straight D down ballot. Voted no on mandatory retirements for judges at age 75 (who puts crap like that on the ballot? That's blatant ageism. There's probably lots of judges over 75 sharper than those aged 65).

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you may have missed the point.  The current retirement age is 70.  It is mandatory that they retire "...at the end of the calendar year during which they reach their 70th birthday."  This referendum seeks to raise the mandatory retirement age to 75.  If you feel that mandatory retirement age represents unfair ageism, and if you think that they can be effective beyond 70, then you might want to vote Yes on that question.

LOL. I guess that's what being uniformed about your ballot gets you.

No was the Democratic position, since the ballot question is really just a Republican power grab to keep one of their justices on longer. So no worries. Tongue

Just voted. I vote at my college residence for those who don't know.

President: Johnson
Senator: Grassley
Congress: Kim Weaver (D, IA-4)
Auditor: Lucy Martin (D)

The rest of the ballot was:

Judges - I voted against the state supreme court judges as they're much too liberal, but voted for most of the lower court guys.

A few mostly unopposed non-partisan offices + an unopposed sheriff & state legislator. I wrote in a name for the heck of it for state legislator and some agriculture position, otherwise I voted for the unopposed candidates or (in one case) picked randomly.

There was also two county supervisor seats, voted for one republican and one democrat.

US President: Donald Trump (R)
US Senator: Pat Toomey (R)

US Congress: Christina Hartman (D)
State Treasurer: Otto Voit (R)
Attorney General: Josh Shapiro (D)
Auditor General: Write-In: Mark Briner (D)

PA Representative: Write-In: David Brown (I)
Ballot Question: Yes

Turnout at my precinct was very light when I voted around noon, there was a small line for the voting machines but none for the paper ballots.
You live in my district. Are you near Reading?

I'm in Elizabethtown.

EDIT JULY 19 2019: This was stupid. I did NOT vote for Donald Trump.

Voted straight D, yes on pretty much every proposition [except for ending the death penalty (62), the cynical "plastic bags" one (65), the bilingual one (58), the disastrous economic one (53), the one that wants legislative stuff online (54), and a tax break for landlords [Local Measure DD]] , yes on most sitting nonpartisan incumbents.

The only remarkable thing I did was vote for a Grad Student for Mayor.

I voted!

I came home immediately after lab ended at 3:50 and jumped on the bicycle and headed to Saint Thomas Episcopal Church to vote.  It's about a mile away.  The boy sometimes comes with me but today he had a pile of homework so he stayed home and did that.

There was a queue!  I've never experienced that.  I've read about them, mostly on this forum, but I've never actually waited in line to get my ballot before.  There were about ten people in front of me and it took nearly ten minutes from the time I entered the building till the time I received my ballot.  Luckily I locked the bicycle.  Usually I don't because it's such a short visit but the large number of cars in the parking lot suggested to me that I might have to wait so I put the lock on.

I had a technical question this time.  I explained that I was going to write in the name of the presidential candidate and I wanted to know whether I also needed to write in the vice-presidential candidate in order for my vote to be counted.  The first octogenarian poll worker I asked did not know, so she called another octogenarian poll worker over and we asked her.  I explained that usually I can find one of the five candidates that I support, but it wasn't happening for me this year.  She asked whether I knew who I wanted to vote for and I said that I had studied it and had a particular presidential and vice-presidential candidate in mind.  I just want to know if I need to list both, or just the president.  She said yes, you must list a name for president and for vice president in order for it to be counted.  I made sure to spell it correctly.

I voted as follows:

President:  Bradford Lyttle  (P)
Vice President:  Hannah Walsh  (P)
US Senator:  Edward Clifford, III  (L)
US Representative:  Christina Hartman  (D)
Treasurer:  Joseph Torsella  (D)
Attorney General:  John Rafferty  (R)
Auditor General:  John Sweeney  (G)
State Senator:  Greg Paulson  (D)
State Representative:  Charles Klein  (D)
referendum:  yes

Paulson is the only one of them that I've spoken to personally.  He and I had a nice conversation downtown about two weeks ago at the Ware Center.  Surprisingly, he wasn't in campaign mode.  It was just us talking.  I decided that I liked him.  The others I've only read about but I'm pretty sure I like my choices.  I doubt any of them will win, except maybe Rafferty and Torsella.

Thermodynamics in the fall, quantum mechanics in the spring.  Caputo Hall room 226.  Are you into chemistry, physics, or any of the sciences?  Come stalk me some time and I'll show you some cool stuff.  We can throw a chunk of potassium in a beaker of water and watch the purple flame fly around the surface of the water.  You'll have to wear safety goggles.

I voted GARY JOHNSON and BILL WELD (also ALLEN BUCKLEY for Senate).

The people there said I didn't look 18--fortunately voter eligibility doesn't go by eyeballing it. Tongue

For all the talk about long lines outside voting booths, there was none when I got to mine after work just before 6pm.  I guess most everyone else either did early voting or voted earlier this morning.
