Ashamed to be American, crying, and now more aware than ever that people give so little thought to politics, and think of it more like a game show. But I know that this is going to turn out even worse for Trump and the right. Still, Clinton supporters don't deserve this.

I'm drunk on Democratic tears. And champagne. I got sprayed with cheap champagne head to toe when they called Wisconsin.

I called it as soon as Iceland's elections didn't bring forth the Pirate Party [confirming what Brexit started, Phillippines continued], then Comeyghazi happened, topped by the black turnout problem in NC.

Accolades are in order. I don't want accolades! I want actual positive and specific messaging! Not Dewey-esque stuff next election!

Like I need off this forum. I want off this party, this forum, this whole interest in politics, at least until good sense reasserts itself.

RIP Hillary Clinton's career, or at least aspirations for the White House.

Now cautiously optimistic that this gamble works out.  It's a wait-and-see.

How I feel. I feel like telling 90% of the posters "we told you not to get overconfident."

At the same time, I'm frightened.

I'm hoping this part of the campaign will blow over. Maybe limit the immigrants coming in more, and not build the dumb wall.  Just work on our problems with foreign relations, spending and infrastructure and get the economy really going again.

Wonderful. I can not wait to see Hillary's face tomorrow.

She's already been through this before. She knows how to lose. She'll keep a smile on her face and say something positive.

I actually did predict a Trump win officially, on this site, and I'm cautiously optimistic going forward. I'm elated that the Court is saved, though.

Also this. There's just no decency and no order to things. It doesn't make sense. The whole thing reminds me that our institutions are not infallible things that help us "rise above" our own... materiality. In fact, they maybe amplify it. Because in the end, we're just f-cking animals. Equality, justice, rationality, fairness... they don't exist.

I really don't know where I go from here and where, like, the world goes from here. I feel empty.

I'm drunk on Democratic tears. And champagne. I got sprayed with cheap champagne head to toe when they called Wisconsin.

I thought Trump was going to lose. When I saw FL, NC and OH, then I thought, "Wow, this looks interesting".

But the MI, PV and WI flips were simply mind boggling. Oh my god, Australians went into meltdown. My girlfriend needed an oxygen tank and a face mask and had to lie down.

It was at this stage, I started to feel part of what the US Republicans were feeling about the election. Not so much the policy components, but really happy that the Establishment got completely smashed.

Enjoy the Champagne!

Crushingly sad for my daughters.

I'm not sure I've ever felt that I failed them this badly before.
